About Us

With over 25 years working in the EMS field in Missouri, I have found it very challenging to find information concerning the Missouri EMS Community. In 2004, I started my first EMS website called Street Smart EMS which was also a resource site for Missouri EMS Professionals. On October 1, 2006, I merged Street Smart EMS with a new website I created using the name "Missouri EMS". We are keeping the name "Missouri EMS" as we feel it best exemplifies who we are and what we are about.

The essential idea was to provide a place where those interested in Missouri EMS could go to find valuable EMS resources relevant to the Missouri EMS Industry.  One of my biggest concerns was the lack of Missouri EMS and related Services having any web presence. That is the basis for Missouri EMS. I want all Missouri EMS and related entities to be able to share information, available not only to the public, but to fellow EMS Professionals. In an effort to afford all EMS and related agencies to have a web presence, Missouri EMS will provide a free web page allowing you  to share information about your service. The free web page is for any Missouri EMS, Fire, Law Enforcement, First Responder Agency, EMS Training Entity or other similar service to promote their service. We reserve the right to restrict any information that we determine is objectionable or does not provide relevant information about your agency.

The information contained within this website has been compiled from various sources including other EMS Professionals, private individuals, our own research and the Missouri Unit of EMS open records and directories. Although we have no affiliation with the Missouri Unit of EMS, we take pride in recognizing their professionalism, accomplishments over the last 30 plus years and their forward looking vision in advancing the Emergency Medical Service Industry in Missouri.
